About the role:
Tradewind has a new exciting opportunity for a Coordinator in the Design and Technology department at a renowned independent school in Sydney. You'll be teaching across multiple year levels, have a love of teaching, successful HSC experience and a deep knowledge and understanding of the NSW curriculum. Experience in D&T is desirable but not essential.
Key Duties:
- Have a clear passion for Design and Technology and want to inspire students
- Design and implement engaging and effective D&T curriculum for Stage 4 to 6 students.
- Provide programming support and leadership in respect to design subjects within the Art and Design Department
- Be an exemplary role model of professionalism and collegiality, performing your role with integrity, enthusiasm and energy.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with the latest educational practices.
Skills & Experience:
- Secondary teacher qualification
- Experience highly regarded
- Leadership experience not essential but is highly regarded
- Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references

- Offering of salary based on your proven experience, with a range of $90,000-$130,000
