About the Role:

Key duties:

· Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities.

· Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

· Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues within a variety of Early Childhood Centres.

· Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.

· Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences.



Skills & Experience:

· Fully completed Diploma in ECE (or ACECQA equivalent)

· Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

· Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)

· Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

· Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain)

· A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

· Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential



Desired Skills & Experience:

· Passionate about early childhood education and care

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· A consistent willingness to get stuck in and show initiative

· Ability to work effectively as part of any team

· Strong understanding of EYLF and Child Safety Standards

· Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity

· Commitment to ongoing professional development
