About the Role:
Tradewind Australia is recruiting for Casual Early Childhood Educators and Assistant Educators for a number of Early Learning Centres across the following areas:
Bunyip, Drouin, Warragul, Baxter, Carrum Downs, Somerville
If you are a qualified Early Childhood Educator, holding a completed Cert III in Early Childhood Education we'd love to hear from you!
As a Casual Early Childhood Educator with Tradewind you will play a pivotal role in providing top-notch care and education to young people. This role is all about flexibility, giving you the chance to work on your own terms while still making a real difference in the lives of children. We value our educators and provide ongoing support to ensure you're set up for success. We also offer a competitive pay rate with flexible work opportunities, giving you the chance to work with a diverse group of children, staff, and families across various childcare centres.
Key duties:
- Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities.
- Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned
with the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers
Skills & Experience:
- Fully completed Diploma in ECE (or ACEQUA equivalent)
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Do Food Safely Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Mandatory Reporting for Early Childhood (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting is essential
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Passionate about early childhood education and care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A consistent willingness to get stuck in and show initiative
- Ability to work effectively as part of any team
- Strong understanding of EYLF and Child Safety Standards
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
