About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity awaits a VCE Business Management teacher to join a thriving co-educational secondary school in Melton, starting Term 1, 2025. In this role, you'll teach senior students, supporting their academic growth during these crucial final years of schooling.
This school, catering to approximately 1500 students across Years 7-12, fosters a collaborative and supportive culture among its staff. Key duties:
- Design engaging lesson plans that align with the VCE Business Management curriculum and cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, exams, projects, and other forms of evaluation to monitor their understanding and progress.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, department heads, and school leadership to align curriculum, share best practices, and support the overall academic goals of the school
- Tailor teaching methods and materials to accommodate the varied learning styles and abilities of students in the classroom.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning and fostering respect and cooperation among students.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies, curriculum changes, and educational trends in the field of Business Management.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Business Management at VCE level
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
