Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and Inspire: Deliver dynamic Biology and General Science lessons tailored to the varying abilities of our secondary students.
- Innovative Teaching: Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and hands-on experimentation.
- Supportive Environment: Cultivate an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that fosters curiosity and a lifelong love for discovery.
- Student Assessment: Assess student progress through diverse evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to enhance their understanding of scientific concepts.
- Collaborative Integration: Work closely with colleagues to incorporate scientific principles across different areas of the curriculum.
- Ongoing Development: Stay updated with best practices in science education and actively participate in school activities and events.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
- Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate previous experience as a Science Teacher- Graduates are welcome to apply too
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
