We are looking for a passionate and experienced AOD Therapeutic Case Manager

Position: Therapeutic Case Manager (AOD)
Location: Brisbane

About the Role:
Join our Health and Wellbeing Programs team as a Therapeutic Case Manager, where you will deliver personalised, client-centred therapeutic interventions for individuals requiring Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) services. This role involves facilitating both individual and group therapeutic sessions, focusing on harm minimisation, recovery models, and strengths-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement case management strategies, including assessments and goal planning.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapeutic interventions using approaches like brief intervention therapy, solutions-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, and motivational interviewing.
  • Facilitate group modules and case coordination meetings.
  • Conduct comprehensive case documentation and reporting.
  • Provide culturally appropriate and trauma-informed care tailored to diverse clients.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Community Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field (required).
  • Experience in AOD and dual diagnosis treatment principles.
  • Skills in substance use assessment, brief intervention, risk management, and family support.
  • Strong understanding of harm minimisation and recovery models.
  • Knowledge of the AOD treatment and mental health sectors.
  • Experience in case management and care coordination.
