The Client
This co-educational independent school is located in Melbourne's Western suburbs and serves students from Foundation to Year 12. With an enrolment exceeding 2,000 students and a staff of over 300, the school offers a comprehensive curriculum, and is committed to fostering reflective, self-directed learners equipped with problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities. In addition to its main campus, the college operates two other campuses and a camp facility, providing diverse educational experiences for its students.
The Role
- Oversee daily operations of administrative departments, including Front Office, IT, Library, Human Resources, Transport, First Aid, and Occupational Health & Safety.
- Lead and manage administrative teams to ensure efficient support for the school's strategic, academic, and administrative activities.
- Develop and implement improvement plans, policies, and procedures for each department.
- Integrate technology and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with educational guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve administrative queries and challenges across departments.
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in IT management, administration, and front office operations within educational settings.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital learning platforms.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety laws and best practices.
