About the role:

A fantastic opportunity awaits for a Secondary Music teacher to join a community orientated school within the Southern area of Sydney. You will be teaching Secondary Music across Stage 4 & 5. This is a collaborative Independent K-12 Co-Educational College.

The school has approximately 1200 students and 100 staff and is on the lookout for vibrant leaders of the future to join their school community.

This role has the flexibility in the length of contract for the right candidate.

Key Duties:

  • Develop captivating lesson plans that spark excitement and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Cultivate a nurturing and safe classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and empowered.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to design interdisciplinary projects that make learning an immersive experience.
  • Harness the power of technology to generate engaging and modern learning experiences.
  • Provide thoughtful guidance and support to young learners, fostering their holistic development.

Skills & Experience:

  • Secondary teacher qualification suitable to teach Music
  • Graduates welcome
  • Hold a valid and up to date NESA registration
  • Valid Working with Children Check (for employment purposes)
  • Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references
