Job Description
Tradewind are working with an excellent Independent School based in East St Kilda in Melbourne, and is comprised of two Primary and two Secondary Schools, an Early Learning Centre and a Creche. The school is dedicated to providing an exceptional education to all Jewish children in a welcoming and safe environment, enabling them to achieve personal excellence and fulfilment. The school is seeking a Science and Chemistry Teacher to join our boys Secondary School. This is a full time role to commence 2025.
About the role:
- Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study
- Monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas
- Implement strategies to achieve Secondary Science and Chemistry targets related to student learning outcomes
- Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan
- Supervising a range of student activities including support and welfare programs
About You:
- Solid experience working within a school environment as a Science and Chemistry classroom teacher
- High level of attention to detail and empathy when dealing with students to aid in their ongoing development
- An agile response overall to your teaching will be an advantage
- Passionate about promoting safety and well being within the school environment
- Strong organisational skills with a key focus on strategically developing the students
- Current VIT Registration required
