What do you do at Tradewind?

As a compliance consultant at Tradewind, I am a first point of contact for new applicants that come through. After a resume is submitted, I will screen applicants to determine eligibility for CRT work and reach out to get a better understanding of the education based experiences applicants have had. I book applicants in for a registration interview and support applicants through the compliance process before activating them for work with Tradewind.

How do you stay ahead of the curve?

Being a teacher myself by trade, I try to stay up to date with any changes in the DET, VIT and VCAA. This ensures that the knowledge I hold on our education system is relevant and ensures I am providing accurate information when supporting our teacher applicants.

What advice would you give people seeking a new role?

I recommend checking that your resume is up to date. It should highlight all your relevant experiences and be relevant to role you are applying for. It is also important to have reached out to referees in advance before applying for a new role to ensure they are willing to provide feedback regarding your professional performance.

What are three words you would use to describe yourself? 

Empathetic, warm, easy going.

Hiking, travelling, concertgoer.
