Recruitment Support

Where are you from?

Somerset, England

What's your past work experience?

I originally utilised my Psychology degree working within the Mental Health sector, supporting children and young adults in Mental Health Hospitals as well as carrying out a leadership role with an advocacy charity that supported victims of domestic violence.

I made a career change to recruitment, working as a permanent consultant in recruitment agencies specialising in corporate services. I developed into leadership positions in the internal Recruitment and Talent Hub departments of the National Health Service, leading workforce teams and managing pilot projects that focused on ways to innovatively recruit, train and retain workforce across Health and Social Care.

Tell us about yourself...

I recently completed my Dive Master training in Indonesia as part of an 8 month travel trip with my partner around South East Asia, and am obsessed with the under water world!

Back in the UK, I captained a women's rugby team and, since relocating to Melbourne, am trying out AFL as a new hobby (wish me luck!).

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

"It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see." - Matt Haig, The Midnight Library

(Perspective changes everything!)
