About the Role:
A rewarding opportunity awaits a committed Secondary VCE Business Management teacher at a leading, global Independent School in Melton, located in Melbourne's West, starting this Term for a contract till the end of the year with possible opportunities into the new year. This position is tailored to instruct students from years 10-11 in state-of-the-art facilities.

The school, renowned globally with 125 campuses worldwide and a student body of over 9000, prides itself on its innovative approach to education. The Melton Campus, the largest in Victoria, serves local students as well as those from nearby regions such as Ballarat, Geelong, Melbourne, Sunbury, and Werribee. With dedicated learning spaces for both middle Primary and Secondary education, the campus currently accommodates 225 students onsite.

Key duties:

  • Design engaging lesson plans that align with the VCE Business Management curriculum and cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments, exams, projects, and other forms of evaluation to monitor their understanding and progress.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, department heads, and school leadership to align curriculum, share best practices, and support the overall academic goals of the school
  • Tailor teaching methods and materials to accommodate the varied learning styles and abilities of students in the classroom.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning and fostering respect and cooperation among students.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on the latest teaching methodologies, curriculum changes, and educational trends in the field of Business Management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Completed relevant Qualifications in Education
  • Maintain a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
  • Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Business Management including VCE.
  • Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
