About the Role:
Are you a passionate Primary Art educator with a love for creative expression? Tradewind is excited to collaborate with an F-9 school in Tarneit, presenting a fantastic opportunity to teach Art to students from Foundation to year 6. This full-time, ongoing role offers flexibility with a start date this term. Key duties:
- Design and deliver art lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of primary students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression and artistic exploration.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate projects and activities to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of art.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' artistic endeavours to facilitate their growth and development.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in art education, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development.
- Exhibit unwavering dedication to ongoing professional growth and development, staying abreast of the evolving educational landscape.
- Embrace and uphold the school's educational philosophy, seamlessly integrating it into both teaching practices and personal ethos.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Must have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
- Previous experience in teaching Primary Art
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
