About Us: We're dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by family violence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Position Overview: Provide culturally sensitive counseling and support to men affected by family violence. Facilitate group sessions and collaborate with stakeholders for holistic intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling sessions to men impacted by family violence.
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources.
- Maintain accurate client records.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related.
- Experience in family violence counseling.
- Understanding of cultural and social factors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
