Manager - Business Systems, Information and Technology Services


Role Overview - As the Business Systems, Information and Technology Services Manager, you will specialise in designing and implementing IT solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions not only meet business requirements but also comply with our regulatory requirements and to our standards of security. This is a full-time role based on a 38 hour working week, located in the Brisbane office.


Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and vendors to meet expectations and improve products and services.
  • Provide expert advice, analysis, information, support and guidance on issues impacting on information and communication technology service delivery and operations to ensure the effective functioning of business systems.
  • Provide technical advice on IT systems and services including enhancements, upgrades and troubleshooting according to standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyse, interpret and solve difficult problems, engaging team and management input to produce accurate and timely solutions, including the investigation, troubleshooting and testing of impacts of changes to any of the components supporting enterprise applications.
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to maximise the capacity of the team to deliver expert advice and quality services to clients.
  • Continuously upskill to maintain knowledge of applications and business technical requirements in the support of enterprise applications in a changing environment.
  • Lead or assist with the delivery of IT projects, as required.



Essential to your success, we will require the following skills and attributes:

  • Prior experience in the development, implementation and future proofing of our company wide IT projects from managing on-site and cloud based servers, IT infrastructure, online security and CCTV networking, our 'Bring Your Own Device' program, IT helpdesk and support, hardware and software management and complex telephone systems just to name a few;
  • Exceptional knowledge of Excel and other report building databases to assist with problem solving, report generation to maximise efficiency of our internal CRM System;
  • Superior IT systems administration and network knowledge, including configuration, setup and maintenance of programs
  • Ability to build relationships with staff at all levels and able to work as part of a team on a consistent basis
  • Strong leadership skills to manage, lead and further develop a team of IT professionals, both locally and remotely
  • Impeccable attention to detail and communication skills coupled with exceptional time management skills
