Family Violence Practitioner- Locum

  Position: Locum Family Violence Practitioner Location: Brunswick Short-Term Refuge 🏠 Duration: Full-time for at least 4 weeks (maybe longer, until mid-May) 📆 Starting Date: March 25th ⏰ Salary: $59.37 per hour 💰

  Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support and advocacy to individuals and families experiencing family violence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and safety planning.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Participate in staff meetings and case conferences.

  Requirements:

  • Valid licensure and certification in relevant field.
  • Previous experience working with survivors of family violence is essential.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and best practices in family violence intervention.
  • Excellent communication and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Must meet Requirement 209 (Bachelor trained social worker) and be MARAM trained.
