Job Title: Family Service Case Manager Opportunity in Bendigo

Job Description: We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Family Service Case Manager to be at the heart of our Family Preservation reunification program. In this role, you will work closely with children and families to create positive and safe environments within their homes, with a focus on keeping families together and facilitating the return of children in care to reside with their families. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the Bendigo community while working alongside a supportive team. 🤝

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support to children and families, assisting them in creating safe and nurturing home environments.
• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective strategies for family preservation and reunification.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored care plans to meet the unique needs of each family.
• Lead family meetings and provide counselling and guidance as needed.
• Keep meticulous records and documentation in line with organisational standards.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant policies, procedures, and legislation. 📝

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in social work or a related field.
• Previous experience in family preservation or similar programs is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• A deep understanding of child protection policies and procedures.
• Genuine commitment to the principles of family preservation and reunification.
• Possession of a valid driver's licence. 🚗
